To be eligible for the above benefit, Hirer needs to fulfil the following:
1. Rent from GrabRentals and is currently (ie at the time of application) on an active contract
2. The rented vehicle cannot be utilised on any day of Medical/Hospitalisation Rental Recovery Days applied for
3. The hirer should not drive commercially on any day of Medical, Hospitalisation and Compassionate Rental Recovery Days applied for
4. Compassionate Rental Recovery Days can only be applied for death of an immediate family. Immediate family refers to Parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings and in-laws. Aunts, uncles, cousins and so on do not fall under the category of immediate family.
5. Applications for Rental Recovery Days must be submitted no later than 7 days after the period of Medical/Hospitalisation Rental Recovery Days applied for
Grab Rentals Pte Ltd will review all requests for goodwill rental recovery on a case by case basis. Upon fulfilment of the terms stated above, we may also take into consideration other factors such as, but not limited to, rides contributed to our platform, driver rating, loyalty, rental period, etc. For Medical/Hospitalisation/Compassionate rental recovery, only applications for days where you are unfit/unable to take Grab jobs may be granted. Grab Rentals may make reference to job history recorded on the Grab platform. In such cases, the rented vehicle should also not be utilised. In avoidance of doubt, where the vehicle is utilised during the period applied for, the entire application may be rejected.
For the purpose of Medical/Hospitalisation Rental Recovery, a valid Medical Certificate needs to be issued by a local based general practitioner (GP), polyclinic or hospital for any treatment deemed medically required.
Where the application is successful and rental recovery payout is applicable, the payout will be made to Hirer’s Grab Cash Wallet on a reimbursement basis within 14 working days from the date of approval. As this is a goodwill reimbursement, Hirer will not be able to cash out the amount in the event of Grab Account termination. A notification will be sent once the reimbursement has been processed. Only successful applicants will be contacted. If you do not hear from us within 14 working days from the time of application, you may assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
By submitting the form, you hereby declare that the information furnished above is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Your application may be rejected or rental recovery payouts may be clawed back in the case where any of the above information is found to be false, untrue, misleading or misrepresenting of the facts. Kindly also note that only complete applications will be reviewed.
Grab Rentals Pte Ltd reserves the right to claw back any rental recovery payouts in the event of breach of any terms and conditions above. In case of dispute, Grab Rentals Pte Ltd reserves the right to make the final decision. Grab Rentals also reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
You also consent to the collection, use, processing, disclosure and retention of your personal data for the purpose of GRBeyond benefits, and in accordance with Grab Privacy Policy(www.grab.com/sg/privacy).
Any early termination of your vehicle rental contract with GrabRentals may result in clawback of benefit(s) awarded under this programme.

The benefit eligibility is tied to contract duration, and is valid only during the contract period stated, where the contract status is active.
Where payout is approved for the Rental Recovery application, the payout will be paid out to Grab Cash Wallet and hirer will not be able to cash out in the event of Grab Account termination.
The number of rental recovery days paid out will be deducted from the benefit allocated in the latest rental agreement, based on the date of application.
Grab Rentals Pte Ltd can, at its absolute discretion, refuse to accept my application without assigning any reason.
