Grab Foodie Awards 2022 Voting Contest

GrabFood consumers all over Singapore were encouraged to show support to their favourite F&B establishments by voting for them. Voters stood to win a $30 GrabFood voucher upon completion of voting in all the voting categories.

*Voters must have at least one completed GrabFood order between January and July 2022 in order to qualify for the prize. Other T&C apply.

Grab Foodie Awards 2022 Voting Contest T&C:

  • The campaign will run till 10 Oct 2022. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to end the campaign or any component thereof at any time, without giving prior notice or compensation in cash or in kind.
  • Each person is only eligible to win 1 prize, which consists of $30 worth of GrabFood vouchers.
  • Winners of the contest will be chosen at random and notified via any means of communication deemed appropriate by Grab, including, but not limited to, social media, in-app notification, call or email.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
