How does the COD service work?
This is a COD remittance service where the rider will collect the COD amount from the buyer (recipient) upon delivery. Our riders are trained not to pay the sellers (senders) the COD amount upon pick-up. Instead, GrabExpress will be paying the COD amount (less COD fee of 1% the COD value) to the sellers (senders) through each seller's identified GrabPay wallet account.

When will sellers be paid for their COD booking?
Remittances will be transferred to your GrabPay wallet 1 working day after your COD booking was made. Note that holidays and weekends are not working days. Thus, if you book anytime from Friday-Sunday, please expect your remittance to be transferred by the next working day.

What is the COD value?
The COD value is the value of the item you will be delivering. Take note that for cash deliveries, the COD value should not include the delivery fee. Delivery fee is paid separately from the COD value.

I. REQUIRED INFORMATION
Grab will be collecting your personal information such as:

1. GrabPay Account No. or Grab-registered Mobile No.
2. Email Address

Which will be used to remit the value of the items delivered to your provided GrabPay wallet. Your personal information will remain in our care until the completion of the GrabExpress Madiskarteng Boss Club. Your personal information will also be shared to Xendit Philippines, Inc. and Ninja Van Philippines, the purposes of transferring the item basket value less cash handling fee to your GrabPay wallet. Your personal information will not be disclosed to other external sources without your written consent.Your GrabPay wallet details will only be used for the purpose of remittance.

II. FEE
Availing of the Cash on Delivery service is subject to the following fees on top of the delivery fee and surcharges:

For GrabExpress Instant COD Remittance
1. Insurance Fee
2. Cash Handling Fee (1% of COD amount)

For Ninja Van COD
1. COD Handling Fee (4% of COD amount per parcel)
Minimum COD amount per parcel: P200.00
Maximum COD amount per parcel: P10,000.00
All rates and requirements above are subject to change by Ninja Van with 30 days’ notice in accordance to the terms and conditions above.

Please take note that the maximum COD value is at P5,000 per delivery transaction.

III. PAYMENT AND TRANSFER SCHEDULE

For GrabExpress Instant COD Remittance
GrabExpress shall transfer payment of the item value of completed deliveries the following work day (holidays and weekends are not working days) to your GrabPay wallet. Cash handling fee charges shall be deducted upon transfer.

Remittance schedules are set provided there are no system down times with GrabExpress and its accredited vendor for payment process.

For Ninja Van COD
For orders that are completed from Sunday through Saturday of a given week:
COD report schedule: COD report will be sent to the seller by 6:00PM local time, of the following Wednesday. In cases where this day falls on a public holiday, Ninja Van shall send the COD report on the next available working day.
COD transaction schedule: Ninja Van shall initiate the bank transfer to the seller's GrabPay wallet by 8:00 PM local time, of the Friday following the COD report schedule. In cases where this day falls on a public holiday, Ninja Van shall send the COD report on the next available working day. Please note that the remittance schedules above are subject to change by Ninja Van with 30 days’ notice in accordance to the terms and conditions above.
